Welcome, Fischer....Welcome, Summer!

Today we celebrated Fischer and the beginning of summer with a potluck of our own. Second cousin Kaylee came with Auntie Terri and Uncle Mike. Kaylee gave Fischer some kisses while Terri held her, and neighbor Chris held Fischer.

Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us--despite a little rain and even some hail! Of all of the children who came, Fischer was the only boy. It was good to see Lyra, Kaylee and Flora--what beautiful ladies! Our little potluck was just right. Our party even lasted until dinner time, so neighbor Mike got the grill going with some chicken and burgers--Thanks, Mike!

We hope everyone made the most of this longest day of the year. We were very happy to have spent it among our family and friends on such a pretty day.
